Captain Carey Smothermon has been a nature, wildlife, and outdoor enthusiast all of his life. Captain Carey is a very laid back and easy going fishing guide that is passionate about catching fish.
Growing up in Arkansas he would look forward to weekend fishing trips with his uncle. It was there, on the fresh water lakes and rivers that he learned the fundamentals of fishing. After moving to Florida, Carey was fortunate enough to meet and learn from some of Florida’s best fishing Captains and guides in the area.
After studying extensively and learning from the very best all along the Gulf Coast he acquired the fine details of saltwater fishing. It was then only natural for him to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a saltwater fishing guide.
Captain Carey is also a Instrument rated private pilot / single engine seaplane pilot and is certified in CPR and First Aid.
Captain Jacob (Jake) Luke
Captain Jake relocated from south Texas to Fort Myers, Florida in 2000 and has since been fishing the waters of SWFL on vessels ranging from 21′ to 90′. He is a third generation fisherman with knowledge of local land and sea, tackle expertise, family experience and willingness to go the extra mile to put you on the fish.
Your whole party will have the best experience on the water no matter if they are 5 or 105. Whether its your first time or you are a seasoned veteran looking for an extreme deep water experience.
